Competitors

Application Process | Rules / Guidelines | Current Competitors (2009-10) | Competitors’ Workshop

Each case consists of 15 competitors.  In 2008-09, the competitors were selected from a pool of about fifty SIPA student applicants.  The pool is comprised of students in the Master of Public Administration (MPA), Master of International Affairs (MIA), and dual degree (MPA/MIA + MBA) programs.  Each team consists of three students.

While not all competitors have formal consulting experience, the multi-disciplinary nature of the applicants ensure each team contains a variety of skill-sets, work experiences, and consulting acumen.  We are confident that the competitors represent the high calibre of talent that is the basis of SIPA’s reputation as a world renown public policy graduate school.  Although the competitors vary in their academic concentrations, as a group, they have all demonstrated strong analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills and a passion to make a difference in policy and development through consulting.
