The SPPCC Steering Committee is comprised of fellow graduate students in the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.   Without their hard work, diligence, creativity, and willingness to go out on a limb or two to try something new (like design a website, implement a branding campaign, or reach out to alumni they’ve never met before) this competition would not be possible.   Throughout the year, some of the tasks they do include:

  • Booking all the rooms for the competition
  • Holding information session for prospective competitors
  • Reaching out to our corporate sponsors
  • Finding ways to expand the broaden the scope of our competition, so more people can benefit.
  • Meeting regularly to try out new restaurants in the local NYC area.

Of course, not all of our work is entirely void of fun.  If you’re interested in joining our team, each year we open positions for at least three new spots.  The application period is typically at the beginning of the fall semester.

Please feel free to email sipa@policycasecompetition.com if you have any questions or ideas on how you think we can make the case competition better!
